String production

In our workshop we are producing the high quality MOSAFINN Hardanger fiddle strings in a traditional way, which enable the fiddle player to produce the finest sound. Presently we are making silver wound D-strings (ters) with a gut core, ram gut A-strings (kvart), tinned silver-steel E-strings (kvint) and tinned silver-steel understrings in several different thicknesses. We also produce G-strings (bass) of closely silver wound gut core.

Alongside our regular string production we are constantly doing research to improve the high quality of our strings.
